Oooohhhhh!! I'm so happy to report that we are getting closer to our sweet Ellie!! Yesterday we received an email from our agency that our Article 5 was picked up at the consulate and on it's way to the Ch*nese children welfare system!! So what does that mean? Actually I have NO IDEA....but I do know that we have started our count down to the VERY LAST step!!!!!!!!!! We are now waiting for travel approval, or Ch*na's invitation to come and pick up our daughter!!! Our agency tells us it could take 2-4 weeks for TA to be issued. But with the averages of fellow adoptive parents on various web communities I belong to, it looks like I might get it in about 14-16 days!!!!!!!! So.... I'm praying, and my heart is set on leaving August 22....please pray for this! Pray for me to accept whatever day I will travel! Please pray for Steven and the kids here at home, while I am away. Please pray for our Ellie, as she is preparing for so many great changes in her life.
This is going to be a VERY long two weeks....while I'm once again WAITING!!! I've been packing, and repacking, cleaning, making bows (and ordering them), buying clothes, repacking, getting paperwork ready, getting immunizations, repacking..... I am soooooo very ready to go get my girl!!!
Maybe, by this time next month.....I'll be in the same country as my baby girl!!!!!!!!!!

Catching up
There is so much to catch up on...
We did receive our LOA on June 12. It was in our hands on the 13th, and we very happily signed it. Then we sent it back to our agency. By the way...we also signed another very important document on the 13th too! (May 13, 2000...our wedding day). Signing this paper means we officially "accepted" Ellie. She has been in our hearts so long...this very important document means we are one giant step closer to her being in our arms!!!
Now I can officially "nest"....well technically I've been "nesting" since we moved here to NV! Moving is a great way to "nest". I decorated around Ellie's bed some more. Adding her name..... that I painted, her picture of St. Elizabeth Anne Seaton (whom she will be named after), and the panda picture Anna painted for her. The panda picture Clare painted is hanging next to Ellie's toys in her play area.
Finally, for the last week the children and I have been having a wonderful time with our family, Aunt Jennifer, Uncle Scott, and Hayden. We have had a wonderful time together! It's the best distraction ever from the "waiting game"!!! The other day we went berry picking. We are always reminded of our sweet girl when we see ladybugs. It seems like we find them (or they find us) all of the time. When we see one. we think of our girl waiting, and say a prayer for her. Here are two of the ladybugs we found while we were picking.

That's all for now.... lots of fun and wonderful ways in which God has shown His grace and goodness.... He is moving us closer to each other. Every day I can feel her closer and closer to me. One day very soon we WILL be together!!!

We also received our approvals of both our I-800 and supplement 3 on June 28th! So now we are waiting for our notice from the NVC, and to be "cabled". I'm not really sure what all is included in this step....all I know is that it means one step closer to our sweet girl! I'm still hoping and praying for us to have our Ellie in our arms by mid September. It would be TOTALLY awesome to be with her by the end of August. (St. Elizabeth's feast day is Aug 28). Only God knows the time right now. We just wait...and trust in Him.
In the meantime, we sent Ellie another care package. I'm hoping this will be the last thing she receives from us before I travel to China. Just as we did with all four of the packages we sent her, we blessed them and prayed over the package. I hope that she will feel the enormous amount of love we already have for her!
THEN.... we were surprised with new pictures of Ellie. I often check the New Hope website, looking for new pictures or updates of. While I was obsessing...I mean searching....to my wonderful surprise, there were four new pictures of our girl! And in two of them she is wearing the outfit we sent!
